Transition Resources
The period of transition between adolescence and adulthood as exciting, nerve-wracking, scary, hopeful, and everything in between. Preparing to move from high school to adult services can be lengthy and complicated. We have created this section to support our families in accessing resources and information that can help ease the stress that this period of change brings.
The sections below offer specific tools and content to learn more about various topics. The calendar shown below will also be updated regularly to show transition-related events that are coming up. If you ever have questions about your student’s transition process, do not hesitate to reach out to Ivy Street’s Transition Department.
Have a resource or event you want all families to know about? Send it over to Valerie at vthibault@ivystreetschool.org to get it added to this page! Transition is a collaborative process and community support is key.
